Santa Boat Cruise

While on our night away we did the Santa Boat Cruise on a local lake up here. It was really a fun thing for bumps. You get to ride the boat across the lake and look at tons of lights on the way across. Once you get across the lake, you float up to Santa's house where he comes out and calls out the name of all the kids on his nice list. Of course, bumps was on there, even though we threatened to take him off many times. He was very excited to see Santa and drink his chocolate after seeing him. As you can tell it was snowing pretty hard while were inside the boat!

Nachos Anyone?

We went away for a night to Idaho to spend some family time together. The hotel we stayed at had an indoor waterpark (bumps has been there before and I have posted pics). He dove in head first to some nachos after we played at the waterpark for awhile. Apparently it made him really hungry!

Squadron Christmas Party

Here are a few from the Christmas party this year. I don't have many of myself and the man because he took the camera and decided to take pics of everyone else. Apparently he thinks he is the squadron photographer for some reason. . .

The Babies

Just some snapshots of the babies hanging out on the couch. Tank is playing with his favorite snowman that he has officially torn one arm to shreds. Oh well, if it keeps him entertained I am all for it!

Hanging with Friends

We took bumps to the Wing Christmas party for kids with our friends the J's. The boys had a great time and got all nice and sugared out before we took them home. Bumps was very insistant to Santa that he wanted a Transformers Helmet. Wonder if he got one for Christmas?

Making Cookies

Bumps loved helping me in the kitchen this holiday season. He was very excited to put the kisses on the kiss cookies and he did a wonderful job if I do say so myself!

First Snowman of Year

M and Bumps built the first snowman of the year and it turned out great! Sad though that it melted the next day because we got rain!!! But it was nice while it lasted!!!

Putting the Tree Up

This was the first year that bumps was into putting the tree up. He loved decorating it and putting the angel on it. And then he proceeded to take all his toys and make them into decorations around the house also. It is pretty funny. . .no, not really.

Bubble Lights

It is amazing how something as simple as a bubble light can fascinate a child for hours. I grew up with them on my families Christmas tree, so we decided to add it to our tradition this year and bumps loves them. Whatever makes him happy makes us happy!

The tree finally came down after some severe sawing action! Good job daddy and bumps!!!

Christmas Tree Hunting

We headed up to the orchards last night to cut down our tree. It has become a yearly tradition for us! Bumps loves to help pick out the tree and cut it down. I think we did a good job this year of picking out our tree. It may be shorter than I like, but bumps loves it and that is all that matters to me!!!

Olive Bumps

Taking after his parents, the first thing that bumps does with black olives is put them on his fingers. Man, what is more exciting to kids than putting olives all over their fingers and showing them to everyone. He doesn't know what ET is yet, so when he does, I am sure he will find it even more funny.

Deep Fried Turkey!

M is a deep fried turkey fiend. I can't get him away from them. He has become the deep frying God here on base. He has to do turkeys for everyone. So naturally he loves the attention also! No, not my husband! He makes a good one though. It was funny to see our friend from Australia taping everything M did so he could send the video back home! I guess we do some weird things here in America!!!
