Little Bits

Ahhhh. . .yet again life has gotten very busy for our family, so the blog has gone by the wayside. We are very excited about the orders and have been house hunting in the area we are going to be in. We are taking the big step of buying a house. Scary. Very scary. We feel like now is the time to do it though. Prices are so cheap right now in the area we are going, we would be stupid not too. We found the neighborhood we are most likely going to be in and naturally there is a lake in it. Wonder who was all excited the minute he saw the lake? Our house actually would be on the lake if we do what we want too do. So big daddy could get home from work, grab his pole, and go out the back of our fence to the lake. That is his heaven. Mom was nice enough to go and check out the houses and the neighborhood today and loved it. So that made us feel good. We (myself and the kids) are going to try to be there before Aug so bumps can start school on time. My baby is starting kindergarten!

Bumps is doing good. He has been offically approved to go to kindy next year. Makes me very very sad. They said he was academically ready, but moreso socially ready. I think the latter is the more important of the two when it comes to kindy. He has had croup this week, something we haven't had in a long time around here. It was the 2nd time in his life he ran a fever. He has been having alot of fun going to our neighbors basketball games, which we have been doing alot. And he ever told me how hot the cheerleaders are. . .thank you bumps, I needed to know that. It is amazing how going to a high school basketball game makes you realize how old you really are. But I digress. . .

Rooroo is growing so fast! She is on solids now and loves daddy's creations. She loves her squash and plows through it fairly quickly. She can move alot faster now. She rolls all over the room and takes off after Bumps the minute she sees him. And now she is getting up on all 4's. Scares the poo out of me. I am very anxious to get a picture of her at Disneyworld being so little, in a princess dress, walking towards the castle holding daddys hand. That was a mouthful. And then another one holding brothers hand doing the same thing. It is going to be so much fun!

I will post some new pics this weekend. I am planning on sitting down and making myself do it!!! Bye bye for now!

Momma (and Daddy) we're coming home!

So if the rumor is true, and we have been told it is 99% for sure, we will be ending our days in the great NW at the end of this summer and heading to some place we didn't think was possible. We will now be based 2o min from my mom, 2 hours from my dad, and 4 hours from all of big daddy's extended family. Big daddy has gotten word he will be helping to establish a new flying unit at our new base. This could all change tomorrow knowing our luck, but I would like to think that we are being told the truth since it came from the commander. We have talked about this base, but as a future possibility, not one that we thought could be our next one. Deployments are a possibility, but it is a risk we have to take. And, besides, I don't know if I could go a year without one. It has kind of become a part of life around here. I am so excited to be going to a base that, like the one we are at right now, is right outside of a big city. I had finally become resigned to the fact we were going to be stuck in bfe again when God came through with this blessing. I was even looking for houses at the base we thought we were going too. Now the fun part of going through things and preparing for a new city begins!!! And it is a journey we are more than ready to take!

Best Friends

Why are bumps and R best friends? Could it be that distance does nothing to seperate them? That they beg for webcam time together? And then this is what they do for hours at a time on the webcam? This pic was taken from K's view of the battle. They did this for almost 2 hours the other day. Of course, K had to get her rooroo time also, especially now that she has been tasked with the very trying job of being her Godmother. But as R likes to tell people "his mommy won't let him have a sister like baby rooroo," so they just have to get their fix on the webcam till we get closer again. Vegas won't even provide K with her much needed rooroo time. But it will provide K and I with some much needed drinking and partying time. But back to the boys. There is a good reason both of our houses are going to have 4 bedrooms. The guest bedrooms have already been claimed by the other couple and the boys will be sharing a room. Not that they will ever sleep, but at least they will be together, fighting with lightsabers, at 3am.
