Smiles at brother

I LOVE watching my kids together. Tonight bumps decided to tell rooroo a story and her reaction to him was priceless. She coo'd and laughed and smiled at him for 30 min or so. It is so amazing to see her recognize him and look up to him. Bumps loves it when she smiles at him. And so do we.

This guy is so silly

Are you serious brother?

That is so funny

I can't believe that!

I love you so much brother

Pumpkin Carving

We carved our pumpkins last night and spent the whole time annoying bumps. We were mean enough to tell him we were scooping out his brains and that cut off our fingers and so on and so forth. That is what good parents do, right? Rooroo was fascinated for about 10 min and then decided she had better things to do, like cry. Bumps was kind enough to decide that he wanted a Darth Vadar pumpkin. So mommy had to freehand Darth Vadar and carve it. It looks like poo, but he is happy. It did take a couple of beers to get through it. Who knows what next year will bring.
Watching daddy chop the top off the pumpkin
Holy cow that is a big knife

Ok, starting to get bored

Go daddy go

3 months old!!!

Hard to believe that rooroo is already 3 months old! Our little girl is growing so fast. In the last month she has started smiling all the time, laughing at her brother, recognizes her parents and brother, and sleeps up to 12.5 hours a night! That last one has been very, very nice. She is turning into a severe thumb sucker. I am trying so hard to ward it off, but it isn't working. She hates the binkie and rips it out if she can. Uggg. . .I don't need another me. Oh well, I will take that over colic.

Mmm. . .thumb

She is actually making bird noises, you just can't hear them

Rooroo's Waterpark Fun

She loved sitting in the kiddie area with both of us and watching the kids run and play. I am so relieved we have another waterbug in the family!!!

Waterpark Fun at the Hotel

Here are some pics of us playing at the indoor waterpark at the hotel. It was so much fun!!!!

This is before he pulled me off into the water

K and R actually stabilized on the snake

Love my Daddy

I love my daddy for taking me on vacation and making super funny faces at me!

More Vacation

Here are some pics from the trick or treating event they had at the hotel. The theme this year was Dr. Seuss, whom I can't stand, but the kids had a great time with it. They got to wear their costumes and go on a candy hunt around the hotel. At each station was a Dr. Seuss character with a poem on where they should go next. They got plenty of candy and we got plenty of headaches from all their energy.

Getting candy from one of the characters

The cutest worm ever

That tail can be doubled as a whip and he figured that out rather quickly

Love my kids!!!

Vacation Weekend

We went on a mini vacation this weekend to the Great Wolf Lodge with some good friends of ours and had a great time. As big daddy liked to put it, it was 60,000 sq ft of indoor waterpark fun. And the boys ran all over that waterpark. The room we had included a seperate little area for bumps with bunk beds and a flat screen. Must be nice. All he and his friend R could talk about for the last week were the bunk beds they were going to have in their rooms. When it came time to sleep on the actual bunk beds, they didn't like them anymore. Both claimed they were going to sleep on the top bunk and neither one of the accomplished that mission. Apparently R didn't like the top bunk as much as bumps didn't. Bumps threw fits both nights crying and wanting to go home and sleep in his own bed. I.e. a ploy to not have to go to bed. Even though, we just put him down in his own bed and he didn't make a peep. And apparently he told big daddy tonight that his bed is "snow comfortable and he loves his bed so much." Rooroo accomplished sleeping in her pack and play instead of her swing, which made us super happy! I am so proud of her. She is now sleeping in her crib! Yeah!!!

Even the female wolves think he is cute

His flat screen and some more paintings. And no, he normally does not get to watch Sponge Bob

Mmmmm. . .Voodoo Donuts, the whole reason we go to Portland

His special room

When he liked the top bunk, ie daytime, this is all we saw of him

Baby Swim

Rooroo has started taking baby swim and is finally starting to enjoy it. The first trip was not so much fun. She screamed the better part of the class. But then again, the water was so cold my lips were turning blue, so that could explain it. The 2nd time she had so much fun observing everyone and kicking her legs. And she got to show off her super cute bikini. Might as well put her in them now because when she gets older, daddy is going to make her cover up!

Warming up after class

Relaxing in her bikini

Showing off her super cool kicking skills

Getting loves from mommy

Flipper Feet

Some pictures of rooroo in her super cute "flipper slippers" that our friend L gave us. She loves those dang slippers. Not to be out done, bumps had to jump in the pictures too.

Hey pal, this is my picture time

No seriously, get away or I am going to pull your hair

Yes, I am a diva

Check out those slippers

Pumpkin Pics

Weekend Fun

We held our annual Halloween party over the weekend and had so much fun. Everyone was super creative again this year. Big daddy decided to be Bluto from Animal House and his friend B was Otter. They pulled it off pretty dang well. Big daddy thought it was fun to be able to roll play all night long. I sucked it up and wore a belly baring costume. I decided even though I am only 2.5 months post partum, I was gonna do it. Did I look good, no, but I still did it. The jello shots slightly helped with the confidence after awhile though. :)

We spent Sun up at the orchards picking our pumpkins for Halloween this year. Bumps had so much fun looking for the biggest ones he could find. So we have 3 massive pumpkins and 1 small pumpkin that he picked for rooroo. He was very proud of finding a pumpkin for rooroo. It was pretty cute. Rooroo slept the whole time. She had no interest in the family bonding time, but we still love her. I was very excited to go to one of the places up there and get corn on the cob to cut down and freeze for the winter. It will be nice to have fresh corn stored in the freezer. And we got fresh potatoes too. There is nothing like fresh farm grown potatoes. Here are some pictures from the Halloween party and then some from the orchards to follow this post.

Who is the cutest worm on the planet

We love our bumps!

Oh you know big daddy is super sexy in his toga and wig
