Happy New Year

What a new years! We had some of our neighbors over for food, fun, and drink. Bumps went out cold by 8:30 and somehow slept through everything! M enjoyed his eggnog shake that he decided to come up with (with about 5 shots of rum in it) and so did our friend, B, who is deploying tomorrow. The guys went next door to M's to check out his new x-box 360 and came back with half of a bottle of Gentleman Jack gone. . .and that should tell you how the rest of the night was. Faith the pug put M and J's rotties in their place. It was by far the funniest moment of the night. We all went out before midnight to smoke some cubans and ring in the new year. And some how, K and B's 9 month old R made it through the night with a smile and some sleep. As for me, I had forgotten how fun it is to watch a bunch of drunk people make asses of themselves. I was loving every minute of it. I drank enough to get a buzz and then decided I was done for the night. Once the boys started talking about skiing and snowboarding today, I figured someone better be healthy enough to drive. Unfortunatly no one was awake to carry out the plan this morning. Oh well. We hope that everyone had a wonderful New Year's!!!
